Sovanna means “golden”.
In Khmer it is written សុវណ្ណ. We chose it for the gold in our emblem, and for the years of life we most want to look after.

I am Cambodian-American, and this oil was part of the household I grew up in. It was warmed on the stove and worked into tired shoulders and feet at the end of the day, for the grandparents first and then for everyone else. Nobody called it a treatment. It was just what you did for someone you loved.
I used this oil every day for a year before I ever thought about opening a spa. It changed how I feel in my own body, and I wanted to bring the practice here.
St. Augustine is where I live, and where so many people have come to spend their golden years. Most of them would rather not drive across town for an hour of care. So we bring it to them, the way it was always done: at home, unhurried, by hand.
